Dr Espinosa

Dr. Espinosa was born in Nicaragua. After the communist revolution, his family migrated to the US, and received political asylum. He grew up in Montana, and graduated from Montana State University, Bozeman, majoring in Biology and Chemistry. He wanted go give back to a country that had given him, and his family, the best opportunity to succeed. Dr. Espinosa enlisted in the Marine Corps as a rifleman. He earned a commission, and he became an Infantry Officer. He rose to the rank of Captain. He met his future wife, Jennifer, at a Marine Wedding in San Diego, CA.

He left the Marines, and accepted the US Navy’s HPSP scholarship. He graduated from New Jersey Medical School, and reported for General Surgery Internship in Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth VA. He completed his General Medical Officer tour in Kaneohe Bay, HI, attached to 3rd Marines. He returned to training, and completed OBGYN Residency at Naval Medical Center, San Diego. After overseas and CONUS tours, Commander Espinosa left active duty in 2022. He has worked in Jacksonville FL, Nashville TN, and Richmond VA as a Locum Physician, until he found the perfect opportunity with Kraemer’s Women’s Care.

Dr. Espinosa is married to his wife (Jennifer), and they have a son (Bridger 20, at Syracuse University), and a daughter (Ellie 14,the most amazing artist, who will be starting HS in Columbia). He enjoys CrossFit, watching SEC Sports, cooking, and watching his wife play tennis.
